content hero problem using elements

Hi,

I have a slight layout problem when using elements.

I have made a content hero section when using a container in generateblocks which seems to span the entire top of the post. I'd like it so that the ad in the sidebar has space to appear up in the unused space next to it. Please see the screenshot for a better understanding.

I've tried setting the container with a specific width but it aligns in the center rather than to the left.

Do you know how I would achieve this?

Hi there,

edit your Page Hero , change the Element Type to Hook and select the before_main_content hook

that worked.

it does appear that i now have two featured images and titles showing now though. how do i turn off the non page hero one?

Yeah thats something we need to add in ie. removing the featured image and title etc. for the hook element

So create a Layout Element and use that to disable the theme Featured Image and Title for those posts.
