Ken
Hi, I Just changed over to GeneratePress with Premium.
I while in the Customizer after making changes, when I check my site, on ALL posts, pages, as well as the home page. the content disappears when you scroll down.I’m really confused as to how to troubleshoot this. I changed from Kadence to GeneratePress. I never had this problem with Kadence. It must be somewhere in the settings. I’ve purged the chache etc. Still content disappears. Weird. Hoping you can give me some guidance.
I’m providing you with a Temporary login good for 7-days.
Thank you.
Standing by.

Okay, I discovered where the problem is but I don’t know how it can be fixed.
I went back and turned “Sticky Navigation” –> OFF. Scrolling and seeing content came back.So there’s some kind of problem with the ‘sticky navigation’. I’d sure like to fix it because I like this feature.

StaffCustomer SupportHi there,
when in the Customizer i can see an error in the Developers console which is related to a cached JS file. Can you test the customizer with the Cache disabled ?

Hi David,
Wow! I just turned off “LiteSpeed Cache” > refreshed my site and the webpages show up on both my desktop and mobile when “LiteSpeed Cache” plugin is deactivated.I’m going to contact my host, “Hostinger” now and see if they can help.
There must be something in the LiteSpeed Cache” that doesn’t work well with GenPress.
If you have any more suggestions on what I can do please let me know.
it’s 2am here in Asia as I write this.

I contacted Hostinger, they had me go to LSC > Page Optimization > turn off ALL CSS/JS related caching features. The good person at Hostinger did this for me. I refreshed my browser…
a-batta-bing-a-batta-boom… when I scroll, the content is back! \(*<>*)/Just for future reference, for any other person having a similar problem here’s LiteSpeed Doc on “Troubleshooting CSS/JS Issues”.
LINK: CSS/JS Issues causing sticky header to make blank page when scrolling
(note: I changed the text to refer to the GP source problem: Using the Sticky NavigationBottom line, I’m more impressed with GP since I don’t need to turn on all these “optimization’ buttons in LSC. Sweet!
For me, the problem is solved, but I’d like to get your feedback before marking the topic resolved.

StaffCustomer SupportGlad to hear you found where the issue lies.
Combining and Minifying JS scripts, as the Litespeed cache was doing, can cause issues for many reasons. Whether that be a script that doesn’t like being minified, or the firing order of scripts getting jumbled up when combined. If one script breaks then it may it also stop any subsequent scripts from firing or operating correctly.
If you want to re-enable those settings, then the doc you linked to shows you how to identify and exclude a problematic script from the cache. It would be good to know what its not liking 🙂

Thank you, David.
I’m not sure if I want to take the time to go through the troubleshooting doc, as the site works fine and loads fast with CSS/JS not-enabled….If it’s not broken don’t mess with it. LOL!
Marking this as resolved.Side note: I’m super impressed with GP support. When using Kadence, there was no support during the weekends and it was very slow and not always spot on.
So glad to make the change….You folks are THE BEST! 🏆 \(*<>*)/April 11, 2021 at 3:43 pm #1730308David
StaffCustomer SupportI am just one of those people who like to know whats going on lol – but i agree if its not broken don’t mess with it 🙂
Glad to hear you’re enjoying GP – and we appreciate the great feedback.
