Content Area Width (Container Width)

Hi.
I know that I can customize my container width.
But, in general, what is considered a good content area width for most devices?
Thank you.
Hi there,
the container width is set using a max-width property so it automatically fill the available space of any smaller device. For the Customizer > Container Width we default to 1200px which is a good size to work with as it defines a commonly used screen size.
Thank you, David.
Does that mean that when I resize my featured and post images that I should make them with a width of 1200px.
Thank you.
Aah ok - depends on how and where the images are being used, if you can share a link to a post/page i can take a look at what the best size is for them.
The site is under maintenance. How can I share a page or post with you?
I will try to create a local copy and send you the link. Thanks.
Here's a link to a local staging copy of the site.
If I am thinking right about this: the width of my images should be 850px for featured images and 770px for internal images in a post.
Thanks.
The site is showing Tunnel Expired unfortunately.
Here is a new link.
Sorry expired again. Can you open it for at least 12 hours?
Hi. I would love to. But I don't have that option. Anyhoo, here's another link.
Is there a specific page I should be looking at?
Try these two pages. Thank you.
I'm getting this site can't be reached error when trying to view the site.
I have brought the site back online so you can access it.
Thank you.
The Single Post Featured Images are being display at max-size of 850px.
Whereas the Images within the content are only 770px wide.
