Hello
In homepage, I want to have a slider that takes up the full page height.
How to adjust the container that would encompass it for this purpose?January 6, 2021 at 3:23 am #1607718DavidStaffCustomer SupportHi there,
can you share a link to your site ?

Here is the homepage that I want to reproduce (it is a site which I am starting to redesign and which was done with WpBackery).
And I want to do this redesign from GP:
https://pasdt.comJanuary 6, 2021 at 6:59 am #1608103DavidStaffCustomer SupportYou can set the Content Container to Full Width for your Home Page:
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/content-container/
Then you can insert your Slider Plugin shortcode and it will span full width.
The rest of the page you can build with the GenerateBlocks Container Block – allowing you to create full and contained width sections:

container : full width
inner-container : full width
minimum height : 100vh
Pour la page :
content container : full width
But the result is not okJanuary 6, 2021 at 10:47 am #1608386DavidStaffCustomer SupportI am not seeing any content in the container? Can you add something text or some other visible content.

January 6, 2021 at 3:18 pm #1608653LeoStaffCustomer SupportVery strange.
Can you disable all plugins except GP premium and let me have a look?
January 6, 2021 at 9:32 pm #1608866cpaloThere it’s done.
There are only GB and GP pluginsJanuary 6, 2021 at 10:45 pm #1608900ElvinStaffCustomer SupportI inserted an image but the container is not the full width
Can you set your image block to full width?
It’s one thing to apply full-width but you’ll have to make the image block full width as well.
Here’s a screenshot of where you set it. It’s on the block’s toolbar.
https://share.getcloudapp.com/12uKjQvpJanuary 6, 2021 at 11:18 pm #1608919cpaloIt’s OK.
Indeed the image was aligned to the left and the global container was not on full page.
How to remove the space between the container and the footer?January 7, 2021 at 3:30 am #1609137DavidStaffCustomer SupportThe space is there because you have empty footer widgets. In the Editor – go to the Layout Panel and set the Footer Widgets to
0
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/layout-metabox-overview/#where-is-it
This will apply to just that page.
If you don’t want footer widgets on the site then you can set them to 0 in the Customizer > Layout > Footer.

January 10, 2021 at 11:09 am #1613457MorganYou can set the Content Container to Full Width for your Home Page:
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/content-container/I’m not seeing the same on my newly installed 3.02 / GPP 1.12.3 test site (it’s been a while).
I’ve got: Layout/Container/Content Layout/One-Container|Seperate Containers.
Not the full width or contained options in article.
