Container block adds unwanted space

I've used a simple container block to highlight a section with a background color: http://www.lamppostsites.com (Caregiver Coaching). The "add new block" icon under that paragraph is adding unwanted space at the bottom. I reduced bottom padding to 0 but space remains. At one point I managed to "click off" it and the space disappeared, but when I went back to add the padding it reappeared.

I'm new to Gutenberg, so forgive me if this is something obvious. Thanks.

Hi there,

replace the Text Block with a Headline Block, in the Headlines settings you can set the Element to P then select the Spacing options and set the Bottom Margin to 0

That worked, thanks. I guess the take-away is to stick with your four blocks to the extent possible!

As a note - we don't recommend you use the Headline Block for your Post Content, keep that to the text block. Use the Headline where some different styling is required.

Glad to be of help!
