Conditional loading of container

Hello,
for some widgets I use different container for desktop and mobile. Actually I use hide-on-desktop or hide-on-mobile but I see in the waterfall, that both container types are loaded. As the widgets generate a request to a 3rd party server, is there a way to inhibit loading the not shown container?

Unfortunately that's not possible. The hide-on options are just using CSS.
