Comments in pages will not be removed

Hallo in a new site with GP even if i remove the comments in pages this will be still display in the front end.

This pages are imported from other site . should i look something more deep ?

Comments have a lot of 'variables' that effect their display - you might find this article useful:

Yes i see is a bit complicated . i managed to make all comments closed easily from one plugin i use recently Perfmatters , has this option inside by default.
