Comments box not showing

Comments are not showing in any of my posts, across my two GeneratePress sites, and it looks like it is on all posts. I can’t find either option you have suggested in previous discussions, namely
1. In the Post editor > Discussion meta box – i assume comments are enabled ?
2. Dashboard > Settings > Discussion – check if Automatically close comments on posts older than is enabled.
Literally, these options are not there in my sites.

Both of those options are handled by WordPress and theme has no ability to hide it.
Perhaps you have some permission issues? Make sure you are logged in as the administrator of the site.
