And do you have a comments.php template or any other comments related functions in there ?

I had a child theme installed before but activated it now. There is a comment.php file when I select generate press in the theme editor. While in the child theme option, there are options like
style.css
functions.php
rank-math.php

OK.
If you DISABLE the Child Theme ie. just active the parent GeneratePress Theme.

Do you see the issues with the Comments ?

Hi, I checked with the child theme disabled, and the comment layout issue still persists.

Ok, then there must have been changes made to the parent themes files.
Go to WordPress.org:

https://wordpress.org/themes/generatepress/

Download the Theme.
Then upload the theme to your site, and tell it to replace the existing theme.

Hi, I did that still the problem persists.

We have not had any other reports on this so this must be something specific to your install.

Can you please:

1. Start a staging site for the current site so we can do some debugging.

2. Disable all plugins except GP Premium and make sure the parent theme is activated.

3. Provide the admin access to the staging site for us to take a look.

Thanks.

Seems like the comments section in the staging area is back to default with the other plugins disabled.

Now, to allow replies, you’ll need to "enable threaded comments" in Settings > Discussion in your Admin Dashboard: https://share.getcloudapp.com/OAu8LKdl

Hope this clarifies!

Hi, yes it worked. thanks.
