Combine primary and secondary menus in mobile.

Users are used to simplistic one button hamburger navigation in mobile. GP is the most simplistically amazing theme Ive used. The two navigation bars in different colors in mobile is neither simplistic or user friendly. I would love if both menus opened together from the same button with menu entries just after each other, but I guess some people would prefer seperate buttons on the same bar.

Would you consider developing something like this?

(I was going to post about possibility of sticky secondary menu in mobile, but I saw there are several posts and requests about it already and I realized I would much prefer the solution to combine the menus anyway.)

Hi Peter. I don’t work here, but I’m using the same functionality. I created a 3rd menu called mobile – added all the pages and sub-pages i needed to it and then selected that menu to use on mobile – I’m using the slideout for that. I think I had to display:none the main menu class on mobile screen size. Et voila! The hamburger menu you always wanted.

    Hi Peter,

    Kristy is right 🙂

The simplest method would be to create a third menu and set to slideout menu:

Then activate it for mobile only:
