Color below header

I was hoping to be able to add a rectangle of color below my header. I would like it "Contained" not "Fluid/Full Width"
If this is available with addons let me know!
You can do something like this using the Page Header add-on.
Simply add some content in there, set it to contained, and then give it a background color. All of the options should be there :)
I am pretty new to this and just purchased all the addons a day or so ago - so i am sure i did something wrong. I did follow this video and cannot get anything to show up near my header, or anywhere at all for that matter. I tried an image and making text, turning the text to red to see if it will show up at all. I have two options in my page header customization and have tried all the options(above content, inside content etc.)

Are you trying to add it to a regular page, or the blog?
If you want it on the blog, you'll have to use the area in "Appearance > Blog Page Header".
Let me know :)
Regular page. I ended up deleting the page and making a new one and it works fine now
Weird - if the settings weren't saving, it may have been this issue: http://generatepress.com/forums/topic/sidebar-layout/#post-89548
