[Support request] Codemirror for hooks

Any chance hook editing can make use of the codemirror library added in 4.9?

I’d like to see this replace the default text editor in WP but I appreciate that’s not a GP issue.

I would have added this in the suggestions section that I’ve used in the past but I can’t find it.
