Code Snippets security problem

Hi all,
Since the Code Snippets plugin has often been recommended here, please note that it is currently being considered as unsecure.
I got an alert from WordFence saying this:
Critical Problems:
* The Plugin "Code Snippets" has been removed from wordpress.org.
Plugin contains an unpatched security vulnerability.
It may be smart to temporarily move snippets to the functions.php file of your theme/child theme until this is resolved.
