    Hi

I’m using the query function to pull category-specific posts into a grid. By default, they are not showing as clickable. Is there a global setting to avoid going into the link settings of each one (both feat. image and post title) and toggling to “link to post” ?

    Example shared.

    Thanks

    Hi there,

so that is the core query loop block, which doesn’t have to be used unless you’re wanting to add posts to a static page.
The alternative is to use the theme archive pages.

Can i see one of these pages so i can make the relevant suggestions?

But in answer to your question, no, there is no default “enable” this setting in the core blocks.

Hi, it’s a staging site so sharing link and some login credentials here. I was using those queries because our ‘category’ pages are custom pages which are redirected from the generic archive versions.

not as far as I know. I have GP Pro theme but if blocks was an additional subscription I don’t have that for now.

OK, to do it with just the core WP blocks, ( its a bit hack ) then you can from any blocks toolbar 3 dot menu Create Reusable block.

Then you can add that Reusable Block to any other place, and from the toolbar 3 dot menu Convert it to a Regular block.
This last point is important otherwise all instances of the block will be linked.

OK. And to do it with GP pro blocks how does that look?

With GB Pro – you can create Local Patterns. And those you can just add to a page and job done.
