    Hi guys,

In my site audit I’m finding my older blog posts have crazy click depths of 30 odd, and I’ve been reading this is not so great. I wondered if there is a way to combat this by creating an archive or something like that? At the moment I’ve got the blog set up to infinite scroll which I thought made sense. Is there any functionality within GP I can use to help with this? Thank you very much for your help 🙂

    Hi Michael,

Sorry not sure if I understand.

What do you mean by crazy click depths of 30 odd?

    Hi Leo,

I think it might also be called Page Depth or Crawl Depth… Here’s a visualization of my blog posts showing what I’m talking about (it’s the long string as opposed to the clusters):

I see. Page depth is the average number of pages that your visitors view during a single session.

That’s not something GP can control. Sounds like it purely depends on the user.

Hi Leo, I fixed it by adding the blog posts to the sitemap. Now the click depth is 2 instead of 32!
