Hello, I was advised to work on the child theme and so I installed it on wordpress. Now I have some questions, I was advised to remove all CSS from the “parent” theme and transfer them to the child theme editor, is this procedure correct? how does it keep the css display rules if they have been removed in the main theme?

No you do not move any styles from the parent themes files.
But … Did you have any CSS in the Customizer > Additional CSS ? As that will need moving to the child theme.the procedure I did is to cut the CSS in the main theme Customizer and paste them in the child theme. it’s correct?

yes I had some additional CSS, and I was advised to transfer it to the sheet theme editor
