child theme for page builders?

Dear Tom,
I'm considering using a page builder such as Beaver builder or Elementor.
Will I need to use a child theme, or can I just add them and go on?
Hi there,
You should be able to use those page builders without a child theme.
A child theme is only necessary if you’ll be modifying core GeneratePress files or adding custom page templates.
