Hi, instead of reinstalling my entire site, I used plugin “Advanced WordPress Reset” to reset database.

I see that the child theme did not make it, nor any of my website styles/customizations. Can you advise? Thanks

    Broken Themes
The following themes are installed but incomplete.
    Name Description
GeneratePress Child The parent theme is missing. Please install the “generatepressAuthor: Tom Usborne” parent theme.

    generatepress-child
    generatepress_child

    Hi there,

I would say that use FTP access to delete one of them.

Also, I failed to export theme settings from Appearance> GP> Export. Can I restore all the theme formatting from Cpanel php/sql or from a zip file of my old site?

    Hi there,

If your host has a backup of your site, you should likely restore it.

It sounds like GeneratePress itself (the parent theme) is missing.

If you can restore an old backup, that would be your best bet.

Let me know if you need more info 🙂
