[Resolved] Checkbox for custom fields in Screen Options missing

Hi,
there is no checkbox for custom fields neither in post nor page screen options. I do NOT use ACF (making problems very often), and I already deactivated ALL plugins (in order to see whether there is a conflict). Even with no plugins activated, checkboxes are missing.

Is this a generatepress theme problem (generally deactivated)? How can I activate those checkboxes? Thanks for your assistance.

That’s handled by WordPress and it should be there by default.

Are you using Gutenberg? If so make sure you are checking the options panel:
