Is there any way to easily change the relative width of the content area and sidebars? I can’t find where to do it in the css.

Our Spacing add-on allows you to change the sidebar widths in the Customizer.
If you’re not interested in that, you can change the sidebar widths using filters: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/leftright_sidebar_width-not-functioning
