changing the the header order

hello lovely GP gurus. i'm really loving this theme and have like five different instances in process now. thanks for answering so many of my questions.
in the header, we want the logo for this site on the left, the title and tagline in the middle with the menu next to that on the right. i found this forum thread but didn't have any luck with getting the elements to move by adjusting this the code in my child theme's functions file.
