    Hi there,

Enable the Typography Module in Appearance > GeneratePress

    https://docs.generatepress.com/article/typography-overview/

The in Customizer > Typography > Body you can change the lineheight.

If theres still an issue please raise a new topic where you can privately share a link to your site using the Site URL Field.

    1) Actually the problem is when I am pressing enter, double space is coming.
I want only single space should come.

This can’t be done by the method you suggested.

    2) Second problem is I am copying article written in MS word, where there is only single space.
but as soon as I paste on wordpress double space is coming.

Pressing shift + enter is not possible for entire article of 2000 plus words.
    which will be time consuming.

    Kindly give me a solution.

    Thanks.

Unfortunately that’s just the way the WordPress editor works (this is the same for classic and block editor).

Hitting enter will always create a new paragraph. Shift + Enter will do single returns.

You can set the paragraph spacing to a smaller value (Customize > Typography > Body), but you’ll still be working with paragraphs.
