Changing SEO plugins

Hello Tom,
In an existing GeneratePress site, are there any pitfalls to changing the SEO plugin, say from All in One SEO to WordPress SEO? Is it as simple as de-activiating the first and installing and activating the new? Jjust thought to see if there are any precautions to be aware of...

Hi Mark,
It depends - do you have a bunch of meta titles and descriptions set?
Most of those plugins have the functionality to transfer settings to and from each other, so definitely look into doing that.
It will make a difference, but if you transfer your settings over, it should be minimal.
Might be worth checking with the support crew of the plugin you're thinking of moving to as well.
