I just switched to Volume from one of the other setups from the site library, and previously I had some code that overwrote the Prev/Next buttons to make them simple text links with a Font Awesome Icon. It seems though with Volume the old code no longer works, and am curious how I can adjust the Prev/Next buttons (https://drop.shelbydenike.com/Screen-Shot-2021-11-04-16-22-48) to further customize them.

    Thanks,

    Hi Shelby,

Volume is using a block element – post navigation:
    https://docs.generatepress.com/article/block-element-post-navigation/

If you want your old Prev/Next button back, go to appearance > elements, set its status to draft.

Let me know if you need further assistance πŸ™‚

    Hey Ying,

Thanks for getting back to me, I don’t think that’s the right one though. The one I am looking at is the one on the main blog pages not on the single blogs eg this one https://drop.shelbydenike.com/Screen-Shot-2021-11-04-17-08-02 the one on that document looks to be this https://drop.shelbydenike.com/Screen-Shot-2021-11-04-17-08-48 … I will still take a look to confirm but just wanted to make sure we were talking about the same one.

    Thanks,

No, we were not talking about the same thing.. lol

You are right, the one I talked about is the one in single post.

The one you are referring to is the Block - Archive Navigation, you also can find it at appearance > elements πŸ™‚
