I am using the Coach template from the site library and trying to change the image on the bottom of the page (assuming that’s the footer). I can’t figure out how to get into the footer area to do any editing. I can edit the homepage fine but the bottom part of the page doesn’t show when I go into edit mode for the home page.

    Hi there,

The Coach template is actually using the block element for the footer:
    https://www.screencast.com/t/AJ0Hac0MQIX9

You can just remove that if you just want to use the regular footer.

Let me know if this helps πŸ™‚

I have the same problem (with Stream). The screenscast above is broken so I’m none the wiser.

    Hi there,

most of the GP Sites use the Block Element to add custom design components.
When you view a page check the Admin Bar > Elements menu to see if there are any active, as well as the shortcut link to find them, which is in Appearance > Elements.

In the case of Stream it has one element titled Global Footer.
Edit that, and select the top most Container Block, and in the sidebar Backgrounds change the Image URL

Note that image Opacity is also set to 0.1.
And there is a Background Color set in the Colors panel.
