Hi everyone,

I have been doing some modifications on my website: playborderlands.com.

the issue is when I'm logged in everything looks great, but if I try in incognito, other computers, phone (all logged off) I do not see my recent modifications.

Here is what my website looks like when I am logged in: https://ibb.co/TBjvvbb
How it looks like when I am logged off: https://ibb.co/MRkxyzS
This is my homepage but this issue also affects my others posts.

From what I read it seems like it is a caching issue.

Please find here all the plugins I am using: https://ibb.co/1RqwyLq

I made sure to deactivate all plugins until you check my website out (except GenerateBlocks and GP premium I keept activated).

However it seems that this issue started when I tried entering multiple CSS codes in Additional CSS and SimpleCSS in order to get the yellow container borders, I am afraid I messed something up here ...

I tried deleting everything in Additional CSS and Simple CSS but it doesn't change anything.

For information, the only CSS code I have is in Additional CSS : https://ibb.co/Y3ffBJv (for yellow borders)

Hope you can help me out,
Thanks in advance

Hi there,

do you have any server side caches ?

Hi David,

Thanks for your fast answer.

I checked with my host support about server side cache, and unfortunatly they do not use any server cache

Would you be able to provide us with a temporary admin login ?
If so you can share the details in the Private Information field.

Yes, here is a temporary login

I am seeing a lot of styles / scripts being loaded on the front end from the JetPack CDN - is it possible to disable that ?

I reactivated Jetpack plugin and checked and it is already disabled, here is what it looks like in jetpack plugin : https://ibb.co/vPxTJNX

Do not hesitate to check through plugins' settings and activate/deactivate them if needed

I can't explain why the CDN requests are still being made if it is disabled.
Could you check with Jetpack support ?

I contacted Jetpack support and they were fast to reply and helpful, see below their answer :

"Hi there -
When I loaded your site, I do not see calls to the Jetpack CDN. Typically these would show as requests to WordPress.com. The only request I see to our resources is to wp.com for the stats as shown in this screenshot:

https://d.pr/i/Px3GMg

I would recommend clearing your browser cache and/or trying with a new browser.
Additionally, when reviewing the support thread from GeneratePress that you linked, I see that you were using Autoptimize and WP Rocket. Please completely delete these plugins (not just deactivate), to see if that solves the issue.
If you continue to see issues, please provide a screenshot that shows resources loading from our CDNs.
Best,
"

As Jetpack suggested I deleted Autoptimize and WP Rocket but the issue is still there. Could you please share a screenshot of Jetpack CDN you see ? I will share with Jetpack support about their CDN loading even when deactivated.

Thanks

These:

But i took a closer look at the site and it could be something funky going on with WP Rocket. If run a cache buster query string on WP Rocket ie. this:

https://playborderlands.com/?nowprocket

Then it loads correctly.

I also notice theres other optimization scripts running for eg. Ezoic ? - so between Jetpack CDN, Ezoic servers, Autoptimize and WP Rocket theres plenty of opportunity for the stuff to get stuck in one of the various caches.

Thank you so much David for your time and your precious help!

It seems like the issue is from Ezoic, each time I activate or deactivate the Ezoic plugin it updates the changes I made to my website.
I am going to contact Ezoic support.

I am marking this topic as resolved.

Great support, thanks!

Glad to hear that!
