[Support request] Changes I'm making in "Customize" aren't doing anything even after Publishing?

I currently have generate press installed with elementor. I’m trying to remove some of the footer widgets, and I noticed that all the changes that I’m making in “Customize” aren’t actually changing anything on the website itself. Any idea what’s happening here? Thanks

Do you see the changes happening in the customizer preview?

If so it’s usually a caching issue.

If this doesn’t help, any chance you can link us to the site in question?

Your footer widget is coming from Elementor entirely so GP doesn’t have any control over it.

Can I change this so that it’s going through GP?

You might need to check with their support for this but maybe try starting with disabling the header footer Elementor plugin.
