    Hello,

I attached a screenshot of the various thumbnail sizes that are defined in my WordPress setup.

When I look at my product on my shop page, I see that GeneratePress is using the 247x296px thumbnail size. This is a problem because those dimensions crop out the sides of my product.

I upload my product photos at 1200x1200px (1:1) dimensions, so I need GeneratePress to use a 1:1 ratio for the thumbnail size that it’s using. For example, it would be great if it used a 250x250px thumbnail instead of 247x296px.

If you look at my screenshot, I already have thumbnail sizes for 100x100px and 180x180px. Could I tell GeneratePress to use either of those two sizes? If so, how can I do that?

I have already gone into Customize > WooCommerce > Product Images and set “Thumbnail width” to “100” or “180” but the theme continues to use the 247x296px thumbnail. I also have “Thumbnail cropping” set to 1:1 so I have no idea how to get GeneratePress to use one of the square thumbnails.

    Best regards,
    Jesse

    Hi there,

GP isn’t responsible for the Woocommerce Thumbnails they are set by the Woocommerce plugin.
You can change them in Customizer > Woocomemrce > Product Images.

    Hi David,

I have tried several different configurations on the Customizer > Woocomemrce > Product Images settings, but it continues to use the 247x296px thumbnail size.

For example, as you can see in the screenshot one of the thumbnail sizes is 100x100px. So I set the “Thumbnail width” to “100” and also selected the 1:1 “Thumbnail cropping” option, but it still uses 247x296px.

    Thoughts?

    Best regards,
    Jesse

Can you check with WooCommerce’ support team to see if they can identify the issue for you?

The option is handled by WooCommerce plugin itself completely as David mentioned.
