Change size of featured image: top and bottom of featured image cut off in post

I have a featured image that is shorter width-wise, than it is height-wise. On the post page, the top and bottom of this featured image are cut off! How do I make it not be cut off?

I deleted the post so I can't show you the link. I'll re-post it once I figure this out.
