    Aloha!

I’m looking to change the “Read More” text on buttons of specific posts in the archive feed to a text that is more suited to the content. For example a post that is related to a Podcast would be better to say “Hear More”. Can I create custom text “Read More” button text based on a condition that is set via a custom taxonomy that I created with the plugin “Custom Post Type UI”?

For example – I created a custom taxonomy called “Formats” (fyi: which I actually named “Type” in the search tools on the referenced Teachings page) and created options to essentially tag a post with “video” “podcast” “auido” “article” ect.

I saw a related support ticket in the forum – #1249687
    https://generatepress.com/forums/topic/conditional-read-more-text-changes/

In this ticket a solution is proposed for tags – I’m wondering if a similar solution can be applied to my custom taxonomies.

Thank you so much! You all are the best!
    Aloha!

    Hi there,

You should be able to use a similar solution with a different conditional tag:
