change preview image when sharing website

Hey there,
how can I tell Wordpress which image on my website to use as a preview? By default when I share the website, it shows the logo with white transparent background and I would like it to show the main background image instead. https://www.screencast.com/t/nwFd3kapUwsl

Hi there,
are you using any SEO plugins ?
Yes I just activated SEOPress - not done with the setup yet but could it be related?
I believe SEO Press uses the Post Thumbnail for its sharing image. So if its not working, then its probably an option that needs enabling in that plugin.
Sadly they cant help , only by submitting a ticket and their sign up seems broken to submit a ticket.
Does anyone here use SEO Press as well and might know how to enable without involving the support?
