change location of featured image

I'm setting up a new website using the Read theme from the Site Library.
The featured image for posts is shown as the background image for the Page Hero.
Is there some way to move the featured image below the Page Hero? I would like it to display above the post content and only be as wide as the content area.

Hi Shlomo,
You could go to appearance > elements, change the status of Blog Posts Headers to pending review or trash it if you don't think it's needed in the future.
