Change line spacing css for WP Maintenance Mode plugin

Hi, are you able to help me please with some CSS code to overwrite the double-line spacing in WP Maintenance Mode plugin?
I cannot find where to change this in their plugin css style and nor can I get my attempt at CSS overwrite to work.
I want the text body to be single-line spacing not double-line.
