    Hello,

I’m using Scribe and changed the background of the footer color just fine. But when viewing in desktop, there are still sections of black on the left and right sight. I’m guessing that’s outside the container. Where do I find the option to change this?

    Thanks,
    Chris

    Hi there,

The background color of the Footer is just the Container background color:

Let me know if this helps 🙂

Thanks for responding. I did try to change that, but I still have the same issue. I changed the container color to green and when I view the site in desktop mode, the footer container is green but the area to the left and right of the container is a different color.

I’m not able to replicate that:

Can you link me to the page in question? I’ll need to inspect the code in your case.

    Hi Chris,

It’s because your site footer is set to contained with, not full width.

To change it, go to customizer > layout > footer, and set both Inner Footer Width andFooter Width to Full.
