Change content of top bar depending on category using "Elements"?

Good day, on a web page I have a topbar with two content blocks (HTML) in it (one on the left, one on the right). Now I want to change the left block depending on the category.
I have already found a solution, but for this I need to install an additional plugin (Widget Options). I would prefer to do this without an additional plugin. I tried to solve it with the Elements function, but there I can't find a way to address the left content block (HTML) or even just the topbar.
Is there a possibility here or should I better use the plugin after all? Thanks for a tip and thanks for your work!

You can use GP's elements.

You can build multiple block elements, assign block element A to category A, assign block element B to category B in the display rules > location.
