Hi there,
Is it possible to change the cart icon to another icon when someone adds a product to the cart?
I would like to show a different icon instead of showing the price of the product that has just added to the cart.
Let me know,

StaffCustomer SupportHi there,
What icon are you looking for?
We’ve added choices of cart, bag and basket in the next version of GP Premium.
The alpha test version should be out either today or tomorrow ๐

As you can see, I’ve uploaded my own icon, I would upload my new icon for the other one, I just need to know if its possible to change the icon when there’s a product inside the cart.
Let me know.
Thanks

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperIn GPP 1.8, there’s a
has-items
class added to the menu item when items exist in the cart. Perhaps you could use that class to change out the icon?1.8 is ready for testing: https://generatepress.com/gp-premium-1-8/

It sounds great, I think that would work.
By the way I’m in love with the new features of Generatepress 1.8!! Do you know when it will be released to the public? I’ve tested in in one of my test websites and I really like it! Can’t wait!

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperGlad you’re liking it! It depends on how the testing period goes – if all goes well, it should be released in a couple weeks ๐

Cool! One bug tha I’ve found is that every time I try to install a new plugin I get an error saying that the plugin coudn’t be installed and it pops up a message error. If I then later do to the plugin’s page I can see it there but deactivated, if I activate it then it works perfectly.
Let me know

StaffCustomer SupportNot quite sure what you mean.
Is this related to the alpha?

Yes, related to the alpha 1.8 version.
I’ll try to explain better: it fails every time I want to install a plugin, it gives me an error that the plugin couldn’t be installed (but it is installed) and then I have to go to the plugin’s page and activate it.
Let me know,

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperAny reason why you think it’s related to the alpha? GPP shouldn’t have any say on whether other plugins can or can’t be installed/activated.
