Change button colors

Sure, see private section. As you can see part of the text and the buttons are still purple and blue, but there is no purple or blue in my global colors (there used to be, but I deleted them and replaced them by my own colors).

Additionally: the global colors don't show up everywhere (for example, when I want to change the button in a block, I have to enter the hex code every time.

Another question: I can delete all colors and name them however I want, right? As long as I tie them to the correct elements.

This applies to GenerateBlocks' color palette selection as well. :D

Except that these hex codes are not my global colors (at least not the ones I want to use, lol). So it looks like something is going wrong here.

Ah I see.

This is likely a caching issue.

To address this, can check on Appearance > Customize > General?

In this setting, can you try unchecking Cache dynamic CSS checkbox, clear browser cache and check the site again if the global colors finally apply?

It's also worth checking if your site is under CDN or if its hosting has some sort of page caching. You may have to clear their cache as well.

Thanks, Elvin! I unchecked Cache Dynamic CSS and cleared the cache of my browser, but the problem persists. The browser on my smartphone is also showing the wrong colors, so I guess I need to contact my hosting service.

Last thing to try before you ask the hosting services would be to try changing the Dynamic CSS Print Method setting to Inline embedding and see if it works. :D

Unfortunately this doesn't work either. Everything looks fine in the editor, but the live site still shows the wrong colors...
Should I change Dynamic CSS Print Method back to External File? (since 'Generating your dynamic CSS in an external file offers significant performance advantages')

That's right. GenerateBlocks has Global color integration with GP Premium so you should be able to select the global color for your GB blocks as well.

Once you've resolved the updating of global color values, then yes, the global colors should apply to the GB blocks as well if they're also using the global colors from the screenshot I've just shared. :D

It will only transfer for the blocks assigned with global colors. Assigning a global color to a block looks like this screenshot from my previous reply - https://share.getcloudapp.com/p9uXLL0j (the circles under the color palette text field are the global colors. clicking should set it as the block's color.)

Else, the blocks will use its default colors.

Going back to this, I've noticed that the customizer settings you've set aren't published.

Make sure the customizer's settings are published instead of drafted so it actually applies to the site.
