Change adding around posts and summaries on blog page

Is there any way to control the padding around the featured images, entry titles, entry summaries? I've uploaded an annotated image showing the padding/spacing I'd like to change. (see links) I'd like to make the layout a bit tighter.

I'm in Appearance >Customize >Layout >Blog (Content) and I can't see the option shown in the article. I do have the spacing module activated, but I'm just not seeing that option. Where do I need to look?
Sorry there is a typo in the article.
Try Appearance > Customize > Layout > Container.
