Centering menu item text inside a border box

I followed this support article to add a button in navigation:
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/adding-buttons-navigation/
The border is closer to the top of the text than the bottom of the text. I have inspected it in every way I know how to see where padding or margin might be doing this but no luck.
Hi Wacey,
Do you mean the order now button?
If so, it looks normal to me:https://www.screencast.com/t/gKUUaeDIRXe
I just tried three browsers and keep getting this: https://postimg.cc/tsmyHVsf
On one browser it looked like it might be good for a brief second then something lower on the page loaded and messed it up? Or I was just seeing things.
Hum..I also tried 3 browsers, Chrome, Safari and Firefox, the button looks normal in all 3 browsers.
Have you tried it on another computer? Let me know!
Yes, I just tried on another Windows computer and still looks off on my side. Not sure what is going on. Thanks for checking it out!
Hi there,
i don't see the issue either.
What happens if you open the site in a Private/Incognito browser to eliminate any caching or extension conflicts ?
Yes, I've tried three different computers (all Windows) and three different browsers (Chrome, Firefox, and Edge) all in private/incognito. Edge is the only only that briefly flashed it in the center before changing the font style.
I'm seeing the issue but cannot tell what's causing it at all - never seen it before.
Can you disable all plugins except for GP Premium and GenerateBlocks to eliminate any unknown conflicts from elsewhere?
I tried disabling all other plugins but that didn't work either. I finally thought to change fonts and that works. So there is something with the Adobe typekit we are trying to use. I'm including the css for the font (which is in an element hook <link rel="stylesheet" href="see private info">).
If the issue is with the custom font then I don't believe we have a solution unfortunately.
Everything from the code standpoint looks correct.
Well at least I finally found the problem. Weird that it works on some computers but not others. Thanks for the help.
No problem.
Seems to be a Windows-specific problem.
