Centering header logo on desktop

Hi Tom.

I've tried to use css to center the header logo I am using to the middle of the page but it is not working out for me. It keeps going to the left. I am not using any text in the tagline or the logo area - just the image.

Here is where I posted on a previous thread:
https://generatepress.com/forums/topic/align-logo-with-site-title/

Think I may have solved it myself by looking at the inspector on chrome whilst emulating mobile view:

.fluid-header .inside-header { text-align: center; }

Have you tried to enable the Header Alignment in Layout options to Center in the admin Customizer?
It is aligned to the left by default I believe. Unless you prefer to use css.

"Customize > Layout > Header alignment" is the way to go :)

Dang! I was looking for the option in "Site Identity".
Totally missed it being in the layout section.

I have removed the CSS and used this option instead.
Thanks David and Tom.

No problem! :)

how about aligning logo in the middle of the header bar. I have noticed logo is stuck more towards the top, however it is perfectly aligned in the middle of the header when I scroll the page down. I wonder if there is way for me align the logo right in the middle same as he menu is?

Hi there,

Any chance you can open a new topic for your question?

This topic is quite old.

Thanks!
