[Resolved] Category to not show up in blog section

Hello, is it possible to set it so that a category doesn’t show up in a blog section? EG please see here: https://www.selfimprovementspace.com/blog/ I put challenge blog posts in the challenge category and they have a tab on their own. I then want the “blog” page to show all other posts, excluding these. How do I do this please?

I added with the recommended php plugin however – and activated then purged cache, and it still doesn’t seem to have done anything! Have I added it wrong at all please? https://ibb.co/gJF25L6

With that code, you have to use the id of the category.
If you edit a Category then check the URL in the browser it will contain the id.

Hi there, I have an issue with this now. Whenever I add posts to my new categories: Self Love, Self Care, Self Improvement or Friendship, they won’t show up on the homepage top bar unless I add them into another original category also: https://www.forgettingfairytales.com

Can you please tell me how I can get these to show… Plus where to edit it again please? As I can’t see an active snippet for me to actually do this… Please see here: https://ibb.co/pbjK16Y

In the WP Show Posts, if you edit the list titled: Header
Does that have any specific categories set ?

Sorry for the delay in replying. I lost where this thread was! Just checked. No it doesn’t have any categories set. Does it need to?

Oh actually, sorry, I was looking on the wrong site!! Yes it did have some missing and it was missing the categories that the blog posts weren’t showing up in, so now I’ve added these in, they should now show? 😀

They should show now – if they don’t then try clearing caches.
