[Resolved] Category descriptions not showing

Hi there,

I have created several websites using GeneratePress, and really love it. Usually, the category descriptions show by default, however, the site I am currently working on does not have the category descriptions showing. I have entered a short phrase in the description field, when editing the category, but it isn’t showing up. I’m not sure what I have done to stop these showing? Is it because I am using a header element? Any help most appreciated.

Hi there,

Yeah I believe using the header element removes the category description.

Can you temporarily remove the header element and see if the issue is solved?

if so would you want to add it to the header element?
