Category buttons to blog page

Hi there,

I'd like to know what is the best approach to add category buttons to my blog page. Here's an example: https://www.marketingignorante.it/blog/. You can see them right under the title.

I was thinking two ways:

1) By simply adding buttons to my blog page. I edit it this way: elements —> block —> loop template. https://imgur.com/CBOR28u So, I just added buttons in the same container of my loop template. It seems to work but im not sure this is the best approach.

2) With another element —> block —> hook. So by creating an hook and by adding it to a specific position on my blog page.

Ps: i'm building my blog site with local wp so i can't share
