[Resolved] Categories not displaying alphabetically

Hey there, I have a variety of category labels on various posts.

I noticed that they are ordered differently on various posts – is there a way to display the categories in alphabetical order on each post?

Hi Tristan,

It’s not possible with GenerateBlocks and GeneratePress Premium.

You would need custom code to retrieve the categories manually, and then order them.

Ah I see – is there any code I can try or is it a bit complex?

Actually I have gone back and edited my posts – unchecking each category, saving, and re-checking them.

It seems to have fixed the issue.

I think the problem was a case of creating new categories after the posts had been published and assigning them.
