Hello Everyone, I am very happy with the theme, I am a newbie in doing Web Design, I have a small website, http://www.muhammad.pk where I am trying to show categories, and tags with the title or under that, checked all the options on my theme, and everything is activated, but still not able to fix this, Can you please suggest to me, what I am doing wrong
Thanks
Hi Ali,
It's not a default WP blog page, you are using elementor to create the blog posts, GP customizer has no control over this.
You'll need to check elementor's settings for that :)
Thank you so much for this information, If possible can you please let me know how I can revert this, I want to use the page of Generate press, is there any option I have to switch?
Go to settings > reading > Your homepage displays, select your latest posts.
Then the customizer options should work for the blog/home page.
Let me know :)
Deleted the Elementor from my website, but still not seeing the categories on my post
You are using twenty twenty one theme now?
The category is showing both at blog page and single post page.

Hi there,
Hi thanks for your help, I am able to fix all this.. One last question, Is there any way to add blocks on my HomePage, with a button on the block? this is the only reason I was using elementor
Yes you can do that with Block Element: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/block-element-overview
Editing Block Element is pretty similar to editing a normal page or posts. It uses Gutenberg Editor as well. You can place buttons here the same way you to w/ normal posts or pages.
You then hook the Block element where you want it to appear.
Here's a visual guide to the Hooks within the theme. https://docs.generatepress.com/article/hooks-visual-guide/
You then set the display rule to target the Front page.
Hi - I'm having the same issue where I've checked the "Display post categories" and "Display post author" boxes.
I went to Customizing>Layout>Blog to update these settings, but no luck. I'm using the column blogroll layout.
My site is https://thrilltable.com
Please help!
Hi Mohamed,
Can you open a separate topic? The case for your site may be completely different from the topic starters.
Opening a new topic allows you to use the private information text field. This will be useful to you in case we have to ask for private information.
Thank you.
