Carousel & Sections

Hi,
I've now got Sections working (love it!), but wondering how to use a Section along with a carousel, as per this design I have:

The title and lower logos are easy enough (I've also got Lightweight Grid Columnns installed and in use on other Sections for 2-col layout), but how would I create a 2-col carousel that allows the user to click the left/right arrows and 'flip'/swipe (if mobile) between other case study boxes I'll have?
(the intention is probably to have 6 case study boxes, with 2 visible (as per design) at any one time)

From what I can find on the forum, that's probably something with Smart Slider 3, but how can I get 2 cols for Smart Slider plus enable left/right swipe/click plus insert this carousel into my Section?
