When i try to update the theme, it shows that “cannot remove old theme and update” or “unauthorized, and after trying it crashes the site. What could be doing that?

Hi, i can update plugin, but not theme. Plugin is updated but now tryid to update theme it crashed again.

Are you updating the theme through the dashboard area?
Are getting any error codes?
Yes, trough dashboard, it says “old theme cannot be removed”.
I have one custom.php-file, could that be in conflict with theme?
It could be.
Can you remove that temporarily?
You can always just do a manual update by removing the theme and reupload the new version.
All your settings will be saved.
