Can't select the embed block inside a grid

Hi Dan,

It's not a default behavior of embed block inside Grid container, you should be able to click on the video and edit.

Not sure why it's happening, have you tried to save the page exit and come back to edit again?

yes, have tried that. after clicking on the navigation element it works, but then when saving, exiting and then going back to editing the page it stops working.

If you add the youtube block directly inside the page, not under a grid container, does it work?

Just by doing the block-nav menu workaround

This is in a custom post type.
When trying to edit in a regular post it does work.
So can it be related to that?

I tested on a custom post type, it doesn't work either.

I think the issue is coming from a bug from Youtube block, seems it doesn't fully support CPT.

We can't really do anything about it. I guess before they figured it out, we'll have to use the navigation.

So I can report this to WP core? since the YT block is a core block

I tested on Twenty twenty one theme as well, it's the same.

So yes, I assume you can report this to WP :)
