[Resolved] Can’t see preview of changes in customizer

Hi,

When I am in the customizer if i try to edit something like a slider I don’t see any changes in the live preview. However, if I untick a check box or something (which forces the page to reload), i see the changes i’ve made.

Its the same when I edit something in the additional CSS section. Any changes here won’t be seen unless the page reloads.

Do you know what could be the issue here?

I have found out it seems to be a conflict with perfmatters. I’ve used perfmatters and generatepress customizer before with no problems. Do you have any idea what could be the issue?

Hi there,

the Customizer relies on Javascript to do the preview, so it could be a JS file being deferred/delayed/disabled thats causing the issue. I would begin by checking any script changes the plugin is making.

But its probably best to ask PerfMatters support. The developers use GP and are super proactive.
