And what do I do to keep the screen filled as good as possible reducing it from desktop to mobile size without getting too much black/ white space and the buttons don´t disappear?

Do you have links to tutorials with starters stuff, like image positioning and sizes, how to fight the black stuff, when changing from desktop to mobile size, how to keep buttons in place over a background images if changing browser sizes, etc.
Your own introduction videos to GeneratePress are waaaay too fast moving. One can´t even see, where you mouse arrow is moving. Please do not consider average users to be so fast, That´s just overwhelming.
And please include dropdown menus i.e. for image positioning and sizing and don´t refer them to the documentation. It´s not easy to even understand the difference in contain, cover and auto just by reading and reading it again and again… That´s a vocabulary that you might feel comfortable with, since you´ve been thinking about and doing these things everyday…. Others haven´t and would rather SEE how it´s done with nice, slow-moving, basic tutorials…

“The single image page is easy to do, you can import a site with a big page hero, like Freelance, then delete the rest part of the home page, switch the image, done.”
I did that with our theme CONNECTIONS, which also has a big picture, but when I reduce the browser to mobile size I get a lot of white space beneath the image, instead of the footer staying on the bottom.

StaffCustomer SupportBackgrounds are one of the more complicated CSS properties. There is no halfway house. We either added just
auto, cover & contain
to a list or we expose users to 100% of its properties. In the buttons spacing properties you can set the Border radius:

O.K. Thank you very much. I´ve been learning quite something over the last days and I am considering to keep working with GenerateBlocks & Gutenberg now instead of Elementor.
Thanks for your patience and
kind regards as always from BerlinJo
